Fresh green tea, good food, wonderful staff, inviting/warming atmosphere PROS: - Very wonderful decor - Small yet roomy - Having green tea as an option - Seats were sturdy and comfy - Food larger than other sushi restaurants - Food was definitely not frozen - Could tell they really cared about your experience CONS: - The music was calming but not traditional which could be a pro just wasn't my taste (it was lofi hip-hop sounding) - It was a bit expensive but completely worth just not a place I could afford every day though ( it was about 60 bucks for 2 people) Overall it merits the 5 stars I can tell the people that work there want to improve and make interesting dishes and cater to there staff, this would make a great dinner or date spot. Highly recommend trying it at least once although I will definitely be returning . ”
“ 4/13/24; in for dinner about 6:00 p.m., they were somewhat busy and a little bit slower than usual, but well worth the wait - was excellent! Had calamari for appetizer, two sushi rolls, of course the hot stone bibimbap, and Tuna Poke bowl. Troy and his assistant are fabulous. Feb. - Fabulous dinner, had the New Orleans and Midnight Train rolls, and Hot Stone Bibimbop, all excellent. Service is always good and nice clean restaurant. Family owned and ran. Highly recommend for those that appreciate authentic. Open 3 days a week for lunch til 2p, dinner M - Sat, closed Sunday. Love this place! He is so creative and unlimited on selection. Excellent every time. ”

Their outgoing, happy attitude is as good as it gets. I highly recommend going here for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends! ”

The prices were also very reasonable. While the food was great, what stuck out to me was the service. Very friendly and welcoming and was patient with me deciding what to order and providing different recommendations. This place is a must try! ”
“ We had a great night at this Japanese restaurant. We have a 16 month old as well and the waiter was very kid friendly and helpful. The restaurant inside looks nice We especially liked the sushi bar. The food was amazing they did fantastic!!! They make their own teriyaki sauce and that was amazing! The sushi We think is rated 7/10 we eat alot of sushi especially in Louisville and this place has exceptional service and food! ”
“ My first time trying this Japanese sushi bar and restaurant but it won’t be my last. When I walked in I was greeted and given a table to sit. The sushi chef and his area was right behind where I was sitting and I could stand up and watch him make the sushi and admire the expertise. They have a good variety of choices on the menu including many vegetarian options. I chose several options four variety of rolls and started off with a Gyoza appetizer which were fried and only contain vegetables which was enjoyable. They then brought out some complementary edamame. This is the first time I’ve tried these it was like similar to eating peanuts but tasty. The salad with the ginger dressing was especially tasty and I look forward to trying that again. I had several rolls as well as sashimi and Nigri. A friend of mine ordered a Korean dish which I could not pronounce but he said it was especially tasty. The sushi rolls were substantial in size so I probably shouldn’t have ordered as many as I did but I did not know what to expect. I thought the service was well above average and they were very accommodating and friendly. Everything I ordered was flavorful with the right amount of spice. I look forward to a return visit in the near future. ”
